Optimizing protein development and production
Crucell has a number of proprietary technologies which are used to discover, develop and produce proteins including monoclonal antibodies.
Crucell’s MAbstract® technology is used for the discovery of antibodies binding to specific proteins, viruses, cells and tissues. MAbstract® technology complements our PER.C6® technology, which is suited to the large-scale manufacturing of proteins. Our STAR® technology is suitable for improving protein yields in CHO and other important mammalian production cell lines.
In addition to using these technologies for in-house protein development programs, Crucell licenses PER.C6® and STAR® technology to the biopharmaceutical industry to establish it as a new standard for protein production.
